Only in Washington, Washington DC that is!

No one can stop Garden Vivien from making a delivery in Washington DC. Well almost no one.

Only this morning one of our drivers attempted a delivery near the intersection of 15th and L Streets Northwest, pulled up to the front of the building when he was approached by a DC police officer and a Secret Service agent. Keith politely exited his vehicle and told the authorities that “I only need five minutes” to which the agent replied, I only need five minutes to tow your truck.” 

Needless to say, the flowers arrangement “Burgundy or Bust” did not get delivered but, all’s well that ends well. I spoke with the client and explained the circumstances and after having a good laugh I suggested that since we would not be able to deliver until Thursday or Friday why not donate the flowers to the VA, Veterans Administration. 

Garden Vivien has a relationship with the good people of the VA that serve America's brave soldiers, donating flowers that return from event work. The professional staff and patients are always surprised and grateful.
